Volunteer organizations such as ours are constantly in need of reinforcements. We invite you, our friends and fellow alumni in the Tampa Bay area to consider being a part of our club.
What is involved?
The Tampa Bay Chapter meet four times each year to plan upcoming events. We often ‘pot luck' together, then conduct a business meeting that lasts about an hour and a half. Our treasurer reports on our financial situation, we consider ways to improve the implementation our current events, and we brainstorm new fund raising ideas.
“What Will Be Required of Me?”
You may participate in our chapter at whatever level of time that you have to offer. We are truly a “volunteer” organization, and you will not be pressured into doing more than you want to do.
Our members volunteer their time in a number of ways. Some help organize our fundraising projects, while others volunteer “man hours” at these projects (working the Monday morning of the golf tournament; helping with the melodrama; working concessions at Falcon games, chaperoning skating parties, etc.).
Mostly We Need Your Input!
If you believe in Florida College , and the kind of special education that it offers, we invite your input and creative ideas for helping us promote FC, and supporting students and Christian families in the Tampa Bay area.
Annual Dues
Chapter membership dues are $25 per family. This amount is waived for those who are set up to make a monthly bank draft to our
Tampa Bay Chapter of the Hutchinson Bell scholarship
fund thru Florida College or if you have the Florida
College Car Tag. |
